In the 1950 and 1960, Scouts did many things that brought them together. One of these is creating bands that marched in parades and just enjoyed playing together. One of the longest traditions of this is that every National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC), Scouts come together from all over the nation to create a band and chorus.

This was once a base Drum that was used by Troop 26 out of Watertown, TN. This was then fitted with the light you see now.
