Boxwell T-shirts

This shelf under the main display shows a very few of the t-shirts that have been made over the years for different aspects of Boxwell life.

Cope

The palque is the dedication plaque that was given for the Tom Whilhite Cabin. Tom holds a special place in Boxwell history. This plaque was thought to be stolen off the side of the cabin and as the story goes “thrown in the horseshoe.” But it was mysteriously turned up in the Museum once it was opened.

Staff t-shirts from 2009 and 2014. Then a shirt sold in the Boxwell Trading post.

Second Frame

Each year the council names the Eagle class after a few very special volunteers. This is like a lifetime achievement award for those scouters in Middle Tennessee. The physical representation of this award has varied over the years, but it typically is a representation of what the Scouter has dedicated their life to and some of the milestones with in their life. This oil painting is that if Mr. Frank Murrey. Mr. Murrey was awarded the Long Rifle, the Silver Beaver, and the Bronze Pelican. He was an Eagle Scout and was an all-American football player at Princton.
